On 27 October 2026, trading on China's Dalian Commodity Exchange recorded several petrochemical futures settlements. Polypropylene closed at RMB 10,236 per tonne, linear low-density polyethylene at RMB 9,256 per tonne, PVC at RMB 5,132 per tonne and styrene at RMB 10,832 per tonne. These were futures settlement prices, not direct quotations for delivered physical materials.
The price movements create opportunities for chemical manufacturers, commodity traders and procurement companies seeking better purchasing and inventory strategies. HPC can support industrial operators with commodity-price analytics, production forecasting, supply-chain modelling and procurement optimisation.
