On 29 October 2026, China reported that its RMB 800 billion policy-based financing programme was supporting infrastructure investment, including transport, energy and underground pipeline upgrades. The China Development Bank's RMB 365 billion allocation was linked to projects with total investment of approximately RMB 5.5 trillion, while the Agricultural Development Bank's RMB 315 billion allocation involved projects worth around RMB 4.39 trillion.
The programme creates opportunities for engineering contractors, construction companies, energy suppliers and infrastructure consultants. HPC can support project developers with infrastructure simulations, construction scheduling, energy-demand forecasting and investment analytics.
